Free Horse Sale Description Generator

The HORSES.SALE description generator turns a short form into a ready-to-publish horse sale advert. Choose a tone, a length and one of eleven languages, tick the details that actually apply to your horse — discipline, age, breed, gender, height, level, show record, vet status, temperament — and the AI writes the text. Copy it, send it to your email, and use it in a HORSES.SALE listing, on another marketplace or in a Facebook post. It is free and works without an account.

Why this matters

Most people who sell a horse are far better at riding it than at writing about it. You know the horse inside out, but turning that into a paragraph a stranger will read to the end is a different skill — and it is the paragraph, not the horse, that decides whether anyone clicks.

The result is adverts that all read the same: a list of facts with no sense of who the horse suits, or a wall of text that buries the one detail a buyer was looking for. Sellers who advertise abroad have it harder still, because the horse now has to sound right in a language they do not write in daily. Many end up pasting a machine translation of a text that was already weak in the original.

There is also the practical side. A horse is rarely advertised in one place. The same description has to work in a marketplace listing, in a Facebook group post, in a WhatsApp message to an agent, and in a follow-up email — and rewriting it each time is how details drift and contradict each other.

The description generator removes the blank page. You answer questions you already know the answers to, and you get a text that reads like an advert instead of a data sheet, in the language your buyer speaks, in a tone you chose. If it is not right, you change one setting and generate another version — it costs nothing to try again.

How to use it

Open the tool at horses.sale/tools/sales-description. There is no login and nothing to install.

Step 1 — Description setup. Pick the style (Professional, Friendly, Emotional, Luxury or Enthusiastic), the length you want (2-3 sentences, one paragraph, or a long detailed advert), the language of the finished text (English, German, Dutch, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Czech, Swedish or Ukrainian) and whether emojis should be added — useful for social media posts, usually not for a formal listing.

Step 2 — Horse details. Category is the only required field: All rounder, Breeding, Dressage, Driving, Endurance, Eventing, Hunting, Jumping or Western. Everything else is optional and controlled by toggles, so you only mention what you want a buyer to know: age, breed, gender, height in cm or hands, training level, show experience, and who the horse suits (amateur, experienced amateur, young rider or pro rider).

Add the characteristics that apply. Health: perfect vet check, good X-rays, remarks on X-rays, no health issues, piro negative, clinically sound, no bad habits, had surgery. Quality: top mover, uphill move, schoolmaster, Olympic quality, GP prospect, top pedigree, proven show record, prize winner. Temperament: bombproof, AA friendly, hot temperament, forward going, for experienced rider, easy to handle, perfect for everyone, sensitive, forgiving. The free-text fields for additional details and bloodlines are where anything unusual belongs — a recent placing, a quirk, the reason for the sale.

Press Get the result. Generating takes about a minute, and the finished text appears on screen.

From there you can copy the text with one click, send it to your email so it is waiting for you when you sit down to publish, or press Write another to try a different tone or language on the same horse — comparing a Professional and a Friendly version of the same advert takes two minutes and usually settles the question.

Read the result before you publish it. The generator works from what you ticked, so it can only be as accurate as your input: check ages, heights and anything about health or competition record, and cut a sentence that overstates the horse. A description that promises more than the horse delivers costs you the viewing, not just the click.

The same writer is built into the listing flow on HORSES.SALE, so when you add a horse you can generate the description in place instead of pasting it in. And because the tool is separate from your listing, nothing stops you using the text elsewhere: another marketplace, a Facebook group, your own website, or a message to a buyer who asked for details.

Frequently asked questions

Is the horse description generator free?

Yes. The tool is open at horses.sale/tools/sales-description, it is free to use, and you do not need a HORSES.SALE account or a payment method. You can generate as many versions of a description as you like.

Which languages can it write in?

Eleven: English, German, Dutch, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Czech, Swedish and Ukrainian. The language of the finished advert is a setting of its own, so you can fill the form in whichever language you think in and still get the text in the one your buyer reads.

Can I use the text outside HORSES.SALE?

Yes. The description is yours to use anywhere — another marketplace, a Facebook or Instagram post, your own website, a WhatsApp message or an email to an agent. Many sellers generate one long version for listings and one short version with emojis for social media.

What do I have to fill in?

Only the horse category. Every other field — age, breed, gender, height, training level, show experience, health, quality and temperament — is behind a toggle or a checkbox, so you decide what gets mentioned. The more you tick, the more specific the advert; leaving a field out simply keeps it out of the text.

How long does it take?

Filling the two steps takes a couple of minutes, and generating the text usually takes under a minute. You can copy the result straight away or have it emailed to you.

Will the AI invent things about my horse?

It writes from the details you give it, but it is a writing tool, not a verification tool — always read the result before publishing. Check facts such as age, height, vet status and competition record, and remove any sentence that claims more than you can stand behind at a viewing.
