Custom Collections: send each client only the horses that fit

Custom Collections are curated lists of horses with their own shareable link. Instead of sending your full Business Page, you pick the horses that suit a particular client or partner and present them as a focused selection. Each collection has a name and a link you can send to anyone.

Why this matters

A buyer looking for a 7-year-old jumper doesn't want to scroll past your dressage youngsters and your two broodmares. When you send your whole string, the client does the filtering — and filtering is exactly the work they came to you to avoid. Attention leaks with every irrelevant horse, and the three genuine candidates lose the spotlight they deserved.

The usual workaround is a message with several links, or a hastily assembled PDF. Both age badly: links get separated from context, prices change, a horse sells and the document keeps advertising it. If the client forwards your selection to a partner or a trainer for a second opinion — which serious buyers always do — the assembled mess travels with it, now without your explanation attached.

A collection replaces all of that with one link containing exactly the right horses. It reads as a considered, professional answer to what the client asked for, which is how a good agent works: the right horses for the right audience, without distractions. It's equally useful for partners and for co-operating dealers, and because the collection lives on the platform, the horses in it stay current rather than frozen at the moment you sent them.

How to use it

Custom Collections: send each client only the horses that fit

There are two ways to build a collection, depending on how large your portfolio is. For a smaller string, go to the "Business Page" section and click "Create New Custom Collection" — in the mobile app, the path is "Tools" → "Horse lists" → "Sharing", then "Create a collection". Select the listings you want to include, give the collection a custom name, and confirm with "Create collection". Once it exists, copy its link and send it to your client.

If you have many listings, filters are faster. Open the "My horses" page and enable filters, then narrow down to the horses you need — by whatever criteria define this client's brief. When the list looks right, click "Save collection". Your saved collection then appears in the "Business Page" section, where you can find it and share its link like any other.

From the client's side, the collection behaves like a compact version of your Business Page: your horses, presented cleanly, with their full horse pages behind each card. You can keep as many collections as you have conversations — one per client, per partner, or per discipline — and send each person only what's relevant to them. The selection you sent stays a selection, rather than becoming a link to everything you own.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between a collection and my Business Page?

Your Business Page shows all the horses you've chosen to publish there. A collection is a curated subset with its own link — the same clean presentation, but limited to the horses relevant to one client or partner.

How do I create a collection?

Open the Business Page section and click "Create New Custom Collection" (in the mobile app: "Tools" → "Horse lists" → "Sharing" → "Create a collection"). Select the horses to include, give the collection a name, and create it — then copy the link and share it.

How do I share a collection?

Every collection has its own link. Copy it from the Business Page section and send it to your client, partner, or anyone else you want to see that particular set of horses.

Can I have several collections at once?

Yes. Collections are meant to be made per audience — one for a specific client, one for a partner, one per discipline — so you can send each person the horses that match their brief.
