Why this matters
When a buyer asks about a horse, the answer usually arrives in pieces. A few photos from one folder, a video link, the age and breeding typed from memory, the price in a separate message. The buyer assembles the picture themselves, and every seller knows how much gets lost in that assembly. Forwarded on to a trainer or a partner — as serious enquiries always are — the thread loses half its attachments along the way.
A marketplace listing solves the completeness problem but creates another: not every horse is meant to be advertised. Discreet sales, horses offered to a narrow circle, and owners who don't want a public price still need a proper presentation. And even for listed horses, sending a client to the marketplace means sending them to a page surrounded by other people's horses.
The horse card gives each horse a single dedicated page, whether or not it ever appears in the marketplace search. Photos, structured details, characteristics, description, videos, and pedigree live together behind one link that always shows the current version. The same card can appear in the listings, sit on your Business Page or website, or remain fully private — and when privacy matters, the link itself can be protected so only the intended client opens it. One link, the whole horse, under your control.
How to use it

A horse card is organized into several sections. Photos come first: a main photo plus a gallery, so the horse can be shown from different angles. Then structured horse details — age, level, gender, and other key attributes — followed by predefined characteristic tags that highlight the horse's traits. The description is automatically translated for international reach, and if writing isn't your favourite part, the built-in AI description writer generates professional text for you. Videos can be added as YouTube links or uploaded directly, and pedigree information is optional for buyers who want the deeper background.
Where the card appears is a publication choice, not a default. Depending on your privacy and publication settings, it can show up in the HORSES.SALE marketplace search, be displayed on your Business Page or embedded website, or remain private and reachable only by people you share it with.
Sharing itself takes one action. In the mobile app, open "Tools", select the "Sharing hub", choose the horse, and use "Share" or "Copy link" to send the card as-is. If the horse isn't published on the marketplace, you can tap "Protect" instead and add privacy settings: password protection, email verification with a one-time code sent to your client's address, or phone verification with a code sent by SMS. The protected link then opens only for the person who passes the check you chose.
Frequently asked questions
What information does a horse card contain?
A main photo and gallery, structured details such as age, level, and gender, characteristic tags, a detailed description, videos (YouTube links or uploads), and optional pedigree information. The description is translated automatically for international buyers.
Do I have to publish the card on the marketplace?
No. Marketplace publication is one option among several — the card can also be displayed on your Business Page or website, or stay private and be shared only with selected clients by link.
How do I share the card of my horse for sale privately?
If the horse isn't published on the marketplace, enable privacy settings for the card: password protection, email verification, or phone verification. A protected link opens only after the client enters the password or the one-time code.
Will the buyer always see the current information?
Yes. The card is a live page, so any update to photos, description, price, or videos is what the client sees the next time they open the same link.
